Three years ago TEITO SAKI had to give up a promising career in baseball after an elbow injury. Revealed in a shocking media address, the 'Shooting Star of Japan' told the press that she will no longer pursue a career in baseball and instead focus on her future studies and schoolwork.

When asked about any possibility of a comeback, SAKI replied with an resigned sigh - "I had a bunch of teams lined up. I was going to debut into the top national team. But because of one mistake I couldn't anymore. I think that's when I lost my drive for baseball. I didn't want to bet my life on something that could go away in a second."

That one mistake will haunt SAKI for the rest of her life. It was just a slip. She's broken the skin of her knees multiple times before; faceplanted more times than she can count; felt the burn of the grass against her palms since she could walk. But nothing compared to the pain that she experienced then - the pain in her arm, and the pain in her heart. It told her - you could never run again, and she believed it. She believed that voice that had guided her on, and now off, the baseball field.
